Welcome to Scoil Mhuire Allenwood

Welcome to Scoil Mhuire Allenwood. We are a Catholic, mixed School located in the village of Allenwood and we currently have 261 students in the school. Our school opened in August 2017 after the amalgamation of Allenwood BNS and Allenwood GNS. We currently have two buildings. The front building, formerly known as Allenwood BNS, was built in 1929. The back building, formerly Allenwood GNS, was built in 1957. We welcome children from the local catchment area of all faiths and nationalities. Our principal is Ciarán O'Toole and our Deputy-Principal is Alison Bell. We have eleven class teachers, three Learning Support/Resource teachers and three Special Needs Assistants. At Scoil Mhuire we offer many activities to our pupils, both curricular and extra curricular.
